Police Respond to Single-vehicle Fatality Crash near Filer

UPDATE: Idaho State Police say James D. Leedom Sr., 58, of Buhl was driving a 1989 Chevy Blazer when he failed to negotiate a right curve near Filer and rolled. Leedom and his passenger, Darrell L. Dumas, 54, of Buhl, died at the scene. Both had been wearing seat belts.

FILER, Idaho (KLIX) – Idaho State Police are at the scene of a single-vehicle fatality crash near Filer. ISP received the call at 2:55 p.m. It is being reported that two people died in the incident.

The incident occurred at mile post 209 on Highway 30, according to an ISP dispatcher.
