The proposed route for the line comes through a lot of private property in southern Idaho, specifically through Cassia and Twin Falls Counties.  A meeting was held last night in Twin Falls where BLM officials showed local residents possible routes for the line.  BLM officials say the project does not have a final route picked yet but rather is still in the planning stages getting input from residents.  Another meeting is planned for this afternoon at Cactus Petes in Jackpot, Nevada from 4 until 7 p.m.  Another meeting is planned for tomorrow at the Best Western Burley Inn from 4 until 7.  Several landowners in Cassia County could be greatly affected by  any proposed route there.  Thursday another meeting is planned from 4 until 7 in Almo.  BLM officials say  Comments submitted at the meetings will go to shape the final copy of the environmental impact statement for the project.
