Power Outage Affecting Traffic Lights in Twin Falls

6:18 PM: Idaho Power is reporting a power outage that is effecting about 650 customers, this includes street lights that are not operational.  The following areas are effected:

• Filer to Falls Avenue on Harrison Street
• Monroe Street to Medrona Street
• Walnut Street on Blue Lakes Boulevard to Locust Avenue including college and businesses

Because the power outage has affected traffic lights, drivers are encouraged to avoid the area.

Both the cause of the outage and when service will be restored is unknown at this time.
