Though the 2013 Oscar nominations won't be announced until next week, today the Producers Guild of America announced their nominees for best picture, best animated film, and best long form television show, and though all the Oscar favorites were included, there were some surprise nominations, like that of the James Bond film 'Skyfall.'

Here's the full list:

The Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures:

This is an eclectic list of films and It's useful to compare the PGA's list to that of the Screen Actors Guild nominations, which had 'Argo,' 'Les Miserables,' 'Lincoln' and 'Silver Linings Playbook' as well but also nominated 'The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.' The Directors Guild will be announcing their nominations next Thursday -- the same day as the Oscars -- so it can't be used for handicapping, but the four overlapping titles are as good as nominated.

What's interesting here are the outliers, 'Moonrise Kingdom,' 'Life of Pi' and 'Beasts of Southern Wild' have attracted some support, but don't feel like locks, so they could surprise next week. It's also hard to judge 'Django' or 'Zero Dark Thirty' as they may not have been pushed (or screened) in time for the SAG nominations. Between the PGA and SAG awards, this should be the Oscar field for 2013, unless 'The Master' gets a surge of support.
