Raul Labrador Demands Local Control for Refugee Resettlement

U.S. Representative Raul Labrador says his priority is the safety of Idahoans and all Americans.

He and colleague Representative Bob Goodlatte of Virginia are proposing changes in refugee resettlement.  Currently local and state governments have no control over the program, which is operated by a non-governmental organization.  Over the objections of liberal members of Congress the two Republicans have crafted changes to immigration law.  Labrador joined us on Top Story and offered details.  The two also wrote a guest commentary for the Washington Times outlining the proposal.
