Representative Raul Labrador has had a pair of recent legislative successes.

One of baseball’s most feared hitters, Killebrew never forgot his roots

The Payette, Idaho Post Office is now going to be named for hometown hero Harmon Killebrew.  One of baseball’s most feared hitters, Killebrew never forgot his roots.

Labrador is also shepherding a bill designed to clear up a flaw in G.I. benefits for veterans.  It honors Shauna Hill, a teen killed tragically in a car accident.  It has a very good chance of becoming law and will allow the government to again say thank you to the men and women who served.

Labrador joined us on Top Story.  You can listen to the conversation at YouTube:
