Idaho Governor Butch Otter is announcing that he will seek re-election in 2014. According to Idaho’s News Channel 7 Jon Hanian, Otter's Press Secretary and Debbie Field, who works on Otter's fundraisers, both confirm he made the announcement to a Governor’s Ball crowd of about 200 people Wednesday night in Coeur d’Alene. Idaho re-elected Otter as its Governor on November 2, 2010.  He was first elected on November 7, 2006.  He previously served three terms in Congress representing Idaho's 1st District from 2001 through 2006.
