Republican Women Honor WASPs

World War II Bomber, Benito Baeza

(KLIX)- Some special women who served during World War II received special recognition at the airshow over the weekend. The Magic Valley Republican Women honored the WASP’s or Women Airforce Service Pilots of the second world war. Many women at the time served our counties military and got little recognition. The Republican Women presented a photo of some WASP’s to the flight team from Arizona. They brought up a World War II era bomber to display during Air Magic Valley. The Republican women wanted to add to the Museum in Arizona, where the bomber is based.
