Rick Perry: America’s Energy Guru! (Opinion)

Rick Perry isn’t going to have many speed bumps on his way to confirmation as America’s next Energy Secretary.

A guest opinion column at the Washington Times (written by one Republican and one Democrat) suggests Perry is the right man for the job.  He was viewed as a stellar proponent of energy development in his home state of Texas and across a wide variety of platforms without heavy use of public subsidies.  Perry also believes the federal Energy Department could go the way of the Dinosaur and America wouldn’t fall apart.
