Some 150,000 sandbags have been shipped across Idaho as states across the Northern Plains and Rockies grapple with rising waters. So far, only agricultural areas in Idaho have been swamped by high water. In the Burley area officials and residents living along the banks of the Snake River are also keeping close watch.  The Snake River is just about to the point of flooding and very close to washing onto private property and in fact already has in some areas.   Right now Bureau of Reclamation officials are saying that water levels are considered extreme.  Above Milner Dam, just west of Burley, the stream flow is around 26,000 CFS.  After irrigation diversions at Milner, the level drops to about 19,000 CFS.  Officials say the high water is eroding the bank along retaining walls on some parts of the river.
