Rupert Man Killed in ATV Crash Near Jackpot

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)- A Rupert Man was killed over the weekend in an ATV crash near Jackpot Nevada. According to the Elko County Sheriff’s office Jay Setser, 33, of Rupert was pronounced dead at the scene after the crash that happened around 6:30 Saturday evening. The sheriff’s office says Setser was with a group of people ridding ATVs about two and half miles from Jackpot when one stopped. Because of the dust sheriff’s officials say another ATV ran into the back of the stopped ATV.

The Elko Sheriff’s office says┬áJed Elmer Dansie, 35, of Rupert, Alan Wayne Brady, 38, of Rupert and Jerued Kris Uscola, 35 of Rupert were also injured during the crash. Two were flown to the hospital in Twin Falls and one to Boise.
