Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Damon Azure was sentenced this Friday morning for the 2012 murder of his brother, Seanachan. Earlier, he pled guilty to second degree murder. District Judge Randy Stoker sentenced Azure to life in prison with 15 years fixed. He was also credited with 1077 days served. Azure will not be required to pay any restitution.

On December 15, 2014, Azure changed his plea, to a Alford plea which allows him to maintain his innocence while at the same time, recognizing that the court has enough evidence to convict him.
Back on February 12, 2012 authorities in Cassia County spotted a car failing to use his turn signal. An attempted police stop led to a chase that ended up in Twin Falls reaching 100 miles per hour. The chase was terminated because it was turning into a danger to the public.
Later, authorities were called to a location northeast of Twin Falls where Seanachan’s body was found in the road, and Damon was in the car in front of the body. Authorities discovered that the victim had six bullet wounds: Two to his head and four to his body.
