Rupert Motorcyclist Ends Up in Bed of Pickup

RUPERT, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) Rupert police say the investigation continues in a motorcycle crash that left one man injured.

On Thursday May 12, police say Cody Dean, 20 of Rupert was following a pickup in the 600 block of Oneida. The driver of the pickup, Walter Roberts, 45 of Rupert, began to turn into a parking lot. The motorcycle struck the back of the pickup flipping Dean into the bed of the truck.

Dean was taken by ground ambulance to the Cassia Regional Medical Center for treatment. Dean was treated and released. Police say the investigation into the accident continues as they wait for some witness statements.
