A 5th District Judge in Minidoka County has sentenced a Rupert woman to probation after stealing money from her employer. news

Holly Anne Najera will spend four years on probation after pleading guilty to stealing nearly $3,000 from the Minidoka County Senior Center while she was the director there.  Last May Najera was charged with felony grand theft and burglary but under a plea agreement the burglary charge was dismissed if she pled guilty to grand theft.  Judge Jonathan Brody sentenced Najera to up to eight years in prison but suspended the sentence in lieu of the probation.
