(KLIX)- South Central Community Action Partnership is looking for family’s to build homes. Its part of the self-help housing program that is supported through USDA Rural Development. It has already put several Magic Valley families in homes in Filer and Kimberly. The latest batch of 7 homes were built behind the Arctic Circle in Kimberly. Those who qualify for the program can plan on putting a little hard work into their homes says South Central Director Ken Robinette. He says family’s will need to see if they qualify for the grants. South Central Community Action will be at Kimberly Good Neighbor Days July 6th and 7th to promote the program. They’ll also be raffling off two play houses.
