BOISE, Idaho (AP) — One of two Boise women reported missing at Craters of the Moon National Monument has been identified. Butte County public information officer Tracy Weaver says 63-year-old Jo Elliott-Blakeslee appeared to have died from exposure.

Park Superintendent Dan Buckley says the Idaho Army National Guard and the Butte County sheriff's searchers found the body by helicopter on a rugged part of the lava field Wednesday. About 40 people continued searching for Amy Linkert, whose 70th birthday is Thursday.

The two were last seen in Arco on Sept. 19 and were supposed to return to Boise on Sept. 21. They were reported missing Monday when Elliot-Blakeslee, a physician, didn't show up for work at the Snake River Correctional Institution in Ontario, Ore. The search at the park began on Tuesday.
