TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — The body of a 22-year-old Twin Falls man has been recovered in the Snake River Canyon west of Perrine Bridge. Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Lori Stewart says the body  was recovered Friday.

Stewart tells The Times-News that the death is still under investigation but it appears suicide is the cause. Search and rescue teams from Twin Falls and Jerome counties worked to recover the body after launching boats from Centennial Waterfront Park.

The body was visible from the canyon rim. The newspaper reported a crowd gathered to watch the recovery from atop the rim.
