Semi Rolls on Interstate 84 in Jerome County

JEROME, Idaho (KLIX)- A semi-truck toppled onto it's side Wednesday afternoon along Interstate 84 in Jerome County.

According to Idaho State Police it happened at around 1 p.m. just east of Hazelton. Police say Colton Boykin, 22, of Arkansas, was driving west when he went off the right shoulder and the semi and trailer overturned.

The driver was wearing a seat belt. The passenger Islam Qasem, 21, of Illinois, had to be taken by ground ambulance to the hospital.
