TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)- A semi-truck blocked parts of Highway 50 early Wednesday north of Hansen. According to Idaho State Police 53 year old Michael Warren was driving a semi-truck hauling a tanker trailer tried to pass a slow moving tractor at around 6:50am. Police say the tractor slowed down more and Warren reacted to avoid hitting it. That’s when the truck went out of control and off the left shoulder and jackknifed. Warren was not injured in the crash. Westbound traffic was blocked by the trailer for about two hours. Traffic was able to flow alternately through the open eastbound lane.

This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.  ISP was assisted at the scene by the Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office and Idaho Transportation Department.
