WENDELL, Idaho (KLIX)- A driver of a sedan had to be flown to the hospital after missing a stop sign and slamming into a semi truck Friday. According to Idaho State Police the driver of a Ford Taurus was headed east on 3600 S and didn't stop at the stop sign at State Highway 46 just after noon. The Taurus was then hit by a Kenworth semi going north on the highway.

Another semi heading south then hit the sedan. The drivers of both trucks were wearing their seat belts. The driver of the sedan was flown by air ambulance to a Boise hospital.  The lanes were blocked for approximately 4 hours.
