Idaho Senator Jim Risch was in Twin Falls yesterday meeting with constituents as Congress takes its summer break.  He says the current economic situation is number one on the minds of Idahoans as he travels the state. He said when he went to Washington D.C. as Idaho’s U.S. Senator he was confident that this is America and nothing bad could happen.  Since then he has changed his mind.  Risch says the current condition of America’s economy is really bad.  But as bad as things are, Senator Risch says the latest vote by Congress has given him reason for hope.  He said if there is any one reason that things are starting to turn around in Washington it’s because of the “tea party” movement.
