Sheriff Chosen For Minidoka County

Rupert, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Minidoka County has a new Sheriff. County Commissioners appointed Eric Snarr as the Sheriff. Idaho’s First News Reports Snarr has been working at the Sheriff's Office for 15 years now. He will be sworn into office on Thursday morning at the courthouse. Snarr is replacing former Sheriff Kevin Halverson who was charged with misusing public funds last month.
