Simplot to Close Three Plants in Idaho

Simplot families across southwest Idaho are responding to some shocking news. Workers in Caldwell, Nampa and Aberdeen have been notified those plants are set to close in two to three years. Simplot Company gave news to hundreds of plant workers yesterday, many of which never saw it coming. The Simplot company says the closures are due to competition in the food market, and three older factories needing updates.
