RIGBY, Idaho (AP) — A single-engine aircraft with a pilot and instructor aboard practicing takeoffs and landings in eastern Idaho crashed when a gust of wind blew it off course and it clipped a hangar.

Rigby police say 66-year-old pilot Gary Lee and 58-year-old instructor Dale Cresap weren't seriously injured when the kit plane crashed at the Rigby Airport on Friday. The Post Register reports that the S-6S Coyote II holds two people and cruises at about 115 mph. The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating.
