TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – The swearing in of Twin Falls’ first female police sergeant has been postponed due to officers investigating the drive-by shooting that took the life of a 16-year-old boy on Saturday afternoon.

Dusty Solomon was scheduled to be sworn into her new position at tonight’s City Council meeting.

No suspects have been named in the incident Saturday, according to the city, but all available officers are working on the investigation.
