JEROME, Idaho (AP) — A south-central Idaho woman authorities say worked with a state brand inspector to steal money from her employer has pleaded guilty to felony grand theft.

The Times-News reports that 39-year-old Georgina Zamora of Jerome pleaded guilty Monday. Authorities say Zamora wrote a $6,500 check to state brand inspector Justin Archer earlier this year and that they split the money. But Producers Livestock discovered the check and contacted police.

Zamora's sentencing is set for Sept. 12. She faces up to 14 years in prison. Archer is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 8. He's charged with grand theft and conspiracy to commit grand theft. He resigned as a brand inspector.
