A series of lightning-caused wildfires in south-central Idaho that had burned about 58 square miles of mostly grass and brush by Sunday were either contained or close to being contained by fire crews called into the area.  Fire information officer Kyli Astle says about 140 firefighters were working on the 10-square-mile Dead Horse fire five miles northeast of Bliss and expect to have it under control this evening.  The  Point Fire south of Rogerson spread to over 700 acres by yesterday afternoon.  It was caused by lightning Saturday night.  Crews hope to have that fire contained by sometime today.
