TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)- Getting to and from Twin Falls and Burley will get a little faster. The Idaho Transportation Department says the speed limit on State Highway 30 will change in several areas starting on Wednesday November 6th.

ITD officials say drivers will have to slow down to 45mph in Murtaugh for about eight-tenths of a mile. The reduced speed area covers several homes, a church, and convenience store. However, at about 4700 East Road in Twin Falls county the speed will increase to 65mph.

This speed will go for roughly 13 miles into Burley where it will then drop back down to 55mph. The speed limit west of Murtaugh will stay at 55mph until drivers get to Hansen.
