Tom Heinsohn

Profession: Retired NBA Player-Coach/ Broadcaster

Best Known For: Virtually synonymous with the Boston Celtics for more than six decades, Tom Heinsohn has played for, coached and analyzed the NBA team. A six-time All-Star forward, Heinsohn played for the Celtics from 1956 to 1965, while the team won eight NBA titles. He also coached Boston from 1969 to 1978, winning the 1974 and 1976 NBA Finals. Heinsohn helped form the NBA players’ union, and he was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1986.

Jamal Lewis

Age: 33

Profession: Retired NFL Player

Best Known For: An All-Pro running back, Jamal Lewis played for the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns from 2000 to 2009. Lewis had his best year in 2003, when he rushed for 2,066 yards, the second-highest, single-season total in NFL history. For the effort, Lewis was named the NFL Offensive Player of the Year. He also set the NFL’s single-game rushing record the same year by rushing for 278 yards against the Browns. Lewis was named to the NFL’s 2000s All-Decade Team and finished his career with 10,607 yards and 58 touchdowns.

Elvis Andrus

Best Known For: A two-time All-Star shortstop, Elvis Andrus has played for the Texas Rangers since he debuted in 2009. He was a key contributor to the Texas teams that won the American League title in 2010 and 2011.

Wayne Simmonds

Profession: NHL Player

Best Known For: Wayne Simmonds plays right wing for the Philadelphia Flyers of the NHL. The rugged winger previously skated for the Los Angeles Kings from 2008 to 2011.

James Harden

Profession: NBA Player

Best Known For: Distinguished by a bushy beard, James Harden has played guard for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the NBA since 2009. A talented scorer who can also defend, Harden was named the NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 2012. He was a member of the US men’s Olympic basketball team that won the gold medal at the Summer Olympics in London in 2012.
