Twin Falls, Idaho  (PRESS RELEASE)- The St. Luke’s Magic Valley Health Foundation is excited to showcase the McKain-Kinney Remembrance Rose Garden in Celebration on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the St. Luke’s Magic Valley campus.

The public is encouraged to attend, as well as St. Luke’s employees and former patients who contributed to the McKain-Kinney Remembrance Rose Garden.  The garden is located on the east side of the St. Luke’s Mountain States Tumor Institute.

Twin Falls philanthropists Barbara McKain and Jim Kinney established the Garden on the Magic Valley Regional Medical Center’s south campus in 1997 to honor their former spouses.  Since that time, community members, former patients and hospital staff have filled the garden with in-memoriam plants, paving stones, benches and statuary.

In April 2011, the St. Luke’s Magic Valley Grounds Crew relocated the garden’s water features, trellises, statuary, benches and plaques to the new hospital grounds on Pole Line Road.   New engraved paving stones are placed in the Garden’s pathways and donors will find new roses honoring their gifts throughout Garden.

The Rose Garden is funded by donations received by the St. Luke’s Magic Valley Health Foundation.  A wide variety of roses, paving stones and exclusive Rose Garden area sponsorships are available.  Please contact the Foundation at 208-814-0070.
