State lawmakers will go back to work in Boise on Monday. While the situation isn't as bleak as past legislative sessions, the budget is expected to dominate the 2012 legislative session. House Minority Leader John Rusche, a democrat from Lewiston tells Idaho's News Channel 7 the big question this year will be trying to decide what goes where. He says one things for sure he isn't anticipating having to cut any services, state jobs, or education.

There will also be a discussion on taxes. The governor says he would like to cut personal income tax from about 7.86 percent to around 7.6 percent to help grow the economy.  There will also be a  conversation over trying to increase state revenue by raising the tobacco tax. That's an idea that republican lawmaker Speaker of the House Lawerence Denney says he would look at as long as the money is being used to help combat tobacco usage.
