I don't know about you, but when I go out for fast food, I'm not exactly interested in getting a hug. But, it's cool when the experience is a pleasant one. There is a new study that claims to know which Twin Falls fast food chain is the most polite.

They went through the checkout lines of 15 major chains and noted which chain workers made eye contact, said "please" and "thank you", smiled and had a pleasant demeanor.

According to Thrillist, the most polite fast food chain is Chick-fil-A. This isn't one of their typical opinion pieces. It's based on a survey conducted by a fast food industry publication called QSR.

The criteria they used to determine who's polite and who's not are obvious, but interesting. They went through the checkout lines of 15 major chains and noted which chain workers made eye contact, said "please" and "thank you", smiled and had a pleasant demeanor.

Considering the relatively low pay for many in the fast food industry, I don't expect those that wait on me or my family to give us a high-five and act like they're a cheerleader. But, the pleasant demeanor part is awesome when it happens.

I'm more concerned when my family goes to a place that is out of a vital ingredient. (Yes, Taco Bell, meat and cheese are a good thing to have on-hand.)

What is your opinion on this? Did this industry survey get it right? Does Chick-fil-A rule the polite kingdom in Twin Falls? Or, does another chain in Twin do it better?
