Sun Valley Ready for 80th Ski Season

SUN VALLEY, Idaho (KTVB) -- Just in time for Sun Valley Resort's 80th winter season, the resort kicks off the ski season with several new features -- both on and off the mountain.

For starters, off the mountain there is a newly redesigned Sun Valley Lodge featuring more spacious guestrooms, luxury suites and a new 20,000 square foot destination spa. Then on the mountain, in March of 2016, Sun Valley will host U.S. Olympic team members like Lindsey Vonn and Ted Ligety at the USSA Alpine Championships.

Sun valley is also now only one of four ski resorts invited to host a go-pro-competition called "Out of the Box." The Sun Valley Resort opens for skiing and snowboarding on November 26.
