TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A 22-year-old Twin Falls man is charged with first-degree murder in connection with a fatal shooting and stabbing in southern Idaho last week.

Bradly F. James was arrested Saturday night and arraigned Monday for charges filed after the death of 58-year-old Larry R. Miller of Filer. Charging documents say Miller was shot in the face and stabbed two dozen times on Thursday evening.

Twin Falls County Sheriff's spokeswoman Lori Stewart says Miller was found after someone called authorities around 6:20 p.m. to report that an adult was bleeding in downtown Filer.

Deputy Prosecutor Rosemary Emory said James told an acquaintance he took a knife and gun to Miller's house to confront him about mistreating a "friend of a friend." Magistrate Judge Thomas Kershaw ordered James held without bond.
