ELKO, Nev. (AP) — Authorities are making plans to extradite a 38-year-old Carlin man to Idaho to face charges in a bank robbery after he was shot by police who chased him 20 miles on dirt roads in Elko County before arresting him last month.

Jake Rowe and his wife, Linda, 37, are suspects in a July 9 holdup at a Zions Bank branch in Twin Falls, Idaho. Linda Rowe was transported to Idaho last week.

The Elko Daily Free Press reports Jake Rowe's extradition hearing is scheduled for Wednesday in Elko Justice Court. He was being held on $1 million bail at the county jail, where he was returned Sept. 6 after being hospitalized with a critical gunshot wound to the stomach.
