UPDATE, Dec. 8: The owner of the horse has reached out to the Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office, according to sheriff spokeswoman Lori Stewart. The horse will return to its home soon.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – If you’re missing a white horse, a mare the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office recently found might be yours.

The sheriff’s office is looking for the owner of a white mare that was found Dec. 4 in the area of 1900 East and 3900 North.

The mare appears to be healthy and well cared for, according to the sheriff’s office. If the owner is not located, the horse will be sold after Dec. 23.
