‘Beware the Batman’ Pulled From Cartoon Network’s Lineup?

It's been a tough road for DC animation on TV since its most successful incarnations with the Bruce Timm-Paul Dini era, and even the madcap 'Batman: The Brave and the Bold,' but it seems Cartoon Network may have suffered another casualty. Read the Script For the Planned ‘Justice League’ Movie!

If you're one of the people who think Batfleck is a bad thing (for the record, we disagree), just remember to tell yourself, it could've been worse. Back in 2007, pre-production began on a 'Justice League' movie that would've cast D.J. Cotrona as Superman, rapper Common as Green Lantern and Armie Hammer as Batman, with Christopher Nolan's 'Dark Knight' trilogy never happening.

The film never happened, for various reasons, but now if you're curious what a 'Justice League' movie could've looked like, you can read the script for the movie right now. (Warning: you'll have a newfound appreciation of 'Avengers,' the 'Dark Knight' and 'Man of Steel' after reading this.)

‘Man of Steel 2′ Almost Cast Josh Brolin as Batman

While everyone is still debating whether or not Ben Affleck will make a good Batman in Zack Snyder's 'Man of Steel 2,' which will feature a "Batman vs. Superman" element, we can tell you who was almost cast: Josh Brolin, who confirms that he was considered for the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman in the upcoming sequel. Here’s Who Twitter Thinks Should Play Batman Instead of Ben Affleck

Wow, people are upset that Ben Affleck is going to be the next Batman. Like, really upset. ‘Man of Steel 2′ Seeking Older Batman, Casting Rumors Begin

It was announced at Comic-Con 2013 that the sequel to 'Man of Steel' will feature a Batman vs. Superman fight in the vein of Frank Miller's graphic novel 'The Dark Knight Returns,' so the big question is, of course, who will play Batman? The script for Zack Snyder's 'Man of Steel 2' is still being written, so it's a bit early for Warner Bros. to start meeting with prospective actors for the role, but sources claim they have a few ideas.
