The whirlwind selection process in finding a person to replace former Twin Falls City Councilman Lance Clow should be coming to an end by next Monday.  Last night the city council selection committee listened to eleven candidates give three minute speeches as to why they wanted to be on the council.

tfid.org There is a position opening up on the Twin Falls City Council.  During Monday’s City Council meeting, Councilman Lance Clow announced he is resigning his position so he can better prepare for his campaign for the Idaho House Seat for District 24.  Clow is running as a Republican and will be on the ballot for the May 15th Primary election.

Twin Falls City Councilman Lance Clow says the result of the redistricting plan recently completed doesn’t sit very well with him and he wants the City Council to discuss the issue at tonight’s meeting.

However you look at it, there is always a price to pay for recycling.  Twin Falls city officials are concerned that the city’s cost to dump the solid waste produced by city residents may be going up by about a dollar per ton.
