TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – Improvements are happening in downtown Twin Falls.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – Work crews were busy at the site of the future City Hall on Wednesday in downtown Twin Falls.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – By the end of today the Rogerson building will be but a memory. Crews were working to raze the building on Tuesday, making way for the future Downtown Commons area – a venue for live concerts and other community events.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – Demolition of the former Rogerson Hotel has been postponed due to structural stability with the building.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – If you haven’t been downtown in a while, two of the above photos depict what it looks like now after the water fountains were removed last month. Work is progressing on repurposing the Banner Furniture building into a modern City Hall.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – The future looks bright for Twin Falls. That was the general theme of the State of the City address given this afternoon by Mayor Shawn Barigar during a luncheon co-hosted by the city and Twin Falls Area Chamber of Commerce.
