Dogs Are Vanishing in Alarming Numbers Around Southern Idaho

In a post on Facebook yesterday, the Twin Falls Animal Shelter reported that dogs are vanishing in Southern Idaho in alarming numbers. Dogs from Wendell, Hagerman, Twin Falls, Buhl, Rupert, and other Magic Valley communities are not returning home, aren't being found, called in, or being found alongside the road.

They are simply disappearing.

The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a High Wind Warning for the Magic Valley from 3am to 6pm Sunday (Mar. 16th). Winds could gust up to 60 mph at times.

More Snow on the Way: Winter Storm Watch Issued For The Magic Valley

The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Winter Watch for the Magic Valley Friday, February 22nd until Saturday, February 23rd.

The Magic Valley could see an additional 2 to 4 inches of snow on the valley floors and wind gusts up to 60 mph on Saturday.
