(KLIX)- Talk of a park on the north rim of the Snake River canyon has come up once again. For years there have been various groups and individuals wanting to establish a multiple use park in Jerome County along the canyon
Even in these tougher economic times there is still a group working on the possibility of someday building a community recreation center in Twin Falls.

What started off about a year ago as a comment after a city council meeting that absolutely no way was the city of Twin Falls looking into a recreation center actually turned into a meeting this week regarding the possibility of a recreation center.
A committee has been formed in Twin Falls to study the possibility of building a recreation center in the future. The 17 member committee consists of four city employees, three city council members and the remainder from city residents and service organization members.
