TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)- With tax season comes tax scammers according to one Magic Valley sheriff's office. The Jerome County Sheriff's office put out a warning on Facebook to it's citizens warning them that they've seen a rise in scams attempting to get money. The scammers pretend to be Internal Revenue Services workers attempting to get taxpayers to send in money.

The sheriff's office says the IRS won't call you about your taxes. They referred people to the Federal Bureau of Investigation website to report such scams.
