BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A Jack Russell terrier named Baby Dog had to be rescued after getting its head stuck in a steel pipe over the weekend. The three-and-a-half year-old dog went missing in southwest Idaho near Melba after going on a walk on Saturday with its owner, who was on horseback. A neighbor found the dog a day later with its head caught in the joint connection of a metal pipe. Owner Melissa Tabor says Baby Dog's head had some swelling after being in the pipe for so long, even after attempting to use vegetable oil to rescue the pup.

Officials called the Boise Fire Department to assist loosening the dog from the pipe. Baby Dog was successfully cut out of the pipe on Monday and returned to her family.
