For anyone involved in the Twin Falls city recreation program, rates will be going up.  Last night the Twin Falls City Council voted to increase city resident rates from $15 to $20 and non-resident rates from $25 to $35.  The increase was necessary in order to stay in line with the Parks and Recreation budget which was increased by $15,000 under the assumption that the fees would be raised.  Some members of the council expressed their dislike for the way it happened but in the end the vote was 4 to 2 with Councilman Don Hall absent.
