TF City Council To Consider Annexation Of Chobani Property

With the construction of the Chobani yogurt factory well under way, the Twin Falls City Council will consider a proposal tonight to annex the property on which the new facility is being built.  Right now the property is still outside the city limits and therefore the city of Twin Falls cannot collect city taxes.  That may change tonight as the council considers the proposal to annex the 37 acres into the city which will also give the new facility police and fire protection.  Public testimony will be taken on the proposal before any decision by the council.
