Twin Falls City officials are grappling with some budgeting issues in the youth sports programs provided by the city.  This year the city will lose about $247,000 dollars in the youth sports program.  Even in a good year a quarter of a million dollars is a lot of money but when times are tight, such as now, it becomes even more of an issue.  City officials are considering the possibility of raising youth sports program fees.  But they are also concerned about raising to the point that enrollment drops appreciably.  An exact amount has not been decided upon but many officials agree that the city supplementing the program to the point it is now is not acceptable.
