A preliminary budget for the next school year is being formulated by the Twin Falls School District and yesterday the Board of Trustees took a look.  So far the district is looking at a budget of approximately $40.3-million dollars.  That includes a carryover of just under a million dollars from the current year’s budget.  The school district also has the extra $7.5-million dollar supplemental levy approved by voters in March.  Superintendent Wiley Dobbs says this boost will allow the district to restore six days to the school year calendar.  A hearing is scheduled for June 13 to discuss the preliminary budget further.
