Did you ever have a model train when you were younger? If not,  you missed out. If so, the Jerome Model Railroad Club will give you lots of reasons to love model trains again.

If you're not familiar with the Jerome Model Railroad Club, they are located at the IFARM, Idaho Farm and Ranch Museum, in the white building towards the south of the property.

On September 10, they are having an open house. There is a small admission fee at the gates of IFARM, but admission to the open house is free. Donations are welcome and help the club with future projects. Trains will start running around 9 am and continue until at least 4 pm.

The Jerome Model Railroad Club will have a special train for the kids and everyone can watch as track and background layouts are modified to see how it's done.

If you would like more information or just want to see what the Jerome Model Railroad Club is up to, you can follow them on their Facebook page.
