The Next White House Chief-of-Staff is in This Photo

I’m living the life of Zelig.  You may recall the Woody Allen film about a guy living essentially as a cipher, however.

He always appears to be in the middle of places where history is being made without really trying.  He’s just an everyman at the center of monumental events.  This morning I was listening to stories predicting Reince Priebus is the next White house Chief-of-Staff.  Five years ago I met the Chairman of the Republican National Committee at a picnic at a brewery (he is from Milwaukee, right?)  We had a pleasant conversation and a friend snapped a photograph.  I haven’t aged much but I saw Priebus on TV the other night and I think the work has somewhat aged him.

There are aspects of my job I don’t like from time-to-time but overall this old country-boy has made small and large talk with some incredible people I would’ve never met had I found gainful employment in my hometown.  Folks back there overwhelmingly voted for Trump.  They want to bring their children home.
