The State With The Best Job Growth Right Now Is Idaho

CNBC just reported some awesome news. The state with the best job growth at the moment is us. That's right. Idaho is where it's at when it comes to finding work these days.

The word is that job growth has been the highest in Idaho for the past 6 months in a row. Here are some encouraging numbers that CNBC passed along from the Idaho Division of Financial Management.

• Idaho's non-farm employment will grow at a rate of 2.3 percent compared with 1.8 percent nationally.
• Idaho housing starts will grow at a rate of 11.1 percent compared with 8.2 percent nationally.
• Idaho's population will grow by a rate of 1.4 percent compared with 0.8 percent nationally.

What's the takeaway? Lots of people are relocating to our area, building/buying homes and finding jobs.

If you do a search for new job openings at Monster.com, you'll find a half-dozen new positions posted for Twin Falls county just over the past couple weeks.

It's not hard to find something to be unhappy about with some of the things happening in this country. But, for Idaho anyway, it's sunshine and roses when it comes to jobs and housing.
